Mission

ETJ Ministries provides comprehensive counseling program development to faith-based organizations so they can better navigate their responsibility within the continuum of care; helping others live life abundantly and find joy in the journey.

ETJ Ministries is powered by Quarry Kingdom Development (QKD), a non-profit engine that exists to serve and empower new ideas, non-profits, ministry leaders, and all those who are called to serve the common good.

We exist to address the growing need for faith-based organizations (FBOs) to respond wisely and biblically to mental and behavioral health crises. We serve congregations and FBO leaders by equipping them with counseling programs, crisis response protocols, and lay leader training.

Our goal is to strengthen each organization's capacity to bear one another’s burdens, provide faithful care in times of trial, and connect members to the broader continuum of care when needed.

Curtis Herring

Founder

Curtis Herring founded ETJ Ministries to help churches and faith-based organizations care for people with wisdom, structure, and integrity. His work sits at the intersection of faith, mental health, education, and organizational preparedness, with a focus on counseling systems, SOP development, training, and leader support.

Shaped by both professional experience and personal loss, Curtis brings a steady, practical approach to ministry that emphasizes responsibility, discernment, and sustainable care. ETJ reflects a conviction that the church must be prepared to respond well to human suffering while helping people find meaning, growth, and joy along the journey.
